He is Jupiter, is the king of all gods.
Jupiter has got two brothers and three sisters. When Saturn, their father , died, the boys, Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto, divided the world between them. Jupiter  took  all the skies. 
Originally God of the sky, Jupiter, was revered as the god of rain,thunder and lightning.
Jupiter holds lightning in his hand which he could throw from the sky.
