Neptune is the god of fresh water and the sea. He is the brother of Jupiter and Pluto. Salacia is the name of his wife. Neptune has absolute control over water like Percy. He can withstand any amount of water pressure. Neptunalia was the festival of Neptune on July 23, at the height of summer. Neptune had one temple in Rome, near the Circus Flaminius, the Roman racetrack. He’s one of only four Roman gods to whom it was appropriate to sacrifice bulls. Neptune was full of energy, but had a bad temper.
